CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY ASSOCIATES OF NORTH
CENTRAL FLORIDA
We are recruiting for two critical positions with our practice. Each will serve as a primary therapist for the practice, once serving mostly children and adolescents and one mostly adults. Both involve filling anticipated vacancies with some existing case load. Excellent skills in treating a variety of conditions, dependability, energy, teamwork, ability to network are critical.
FLORIDA LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST/RESIDENT - Child and Adolescent Therapist
We are seeking a full-time Florida Licensed Psychologist (or may consider an exceptional resident who is seeking a long-term permanent position) to join our private group practice.
We will consider outstanding individuals for psychology resident. Must be license eligible, have completed dissertation defense and APA approved internship. Experience with a range off pediatric psychology issues as well as ADHD and other common child and adolescent disorders is important. Strong child therapy experience. Unfortunately, at this time we do not provide health insurance. We do pay for FPA dues, malpractice insurance and provide advertising, billing, and other support. There is a no-compete clause for practice, so this position is for someone who wishes to stay, build, and maintain a full-time therapy practice with us. ADULT PSYCHOTHERAPIST LIC. PSYCHOLOGIST or RESIDENT
Full-time Position: Adult Psychotherapist. Must be Florida Licensed Psychologist or may consider exceptional resident. Broad therapy skills with depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, etc. While chronic pain and/or addiction treatment experience would be a big plus, solid skills and comfort in providing psychotherapy to a range of male and female adults with mood, anxiety, adjustment, work and other difficulties is essential. The individual would become an employee of the practice. Salary is based on performance (a percentage of collections). We do pay for FPA dues, malpractice insurance and provide advertising, billing, and other support. We may consider an exceptional individual as a psychology resident. This position primarily in our
Gainesville office is ideal for someone planning to get some clinical experience before applying to graduate school. It would involve learning to administer and score a variety of intelligence, memory and neuropsychological tests. We would train, though a minimum one year commitment is expected. Good organizational and communication skills, maturity, and attention to detail are important. Minimum qualifications are Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Reliable transportation is important, because there is occasional travel to our

| INTERNSHIPS - Unpaid volunteer positions. Gainesville Florida
Occasionally we will consider outstanding college students in or after their senior year or who are seeking experience. Usually at least a 2 day per week 3-6 month committment is required. We usually have a position available for general office assistance to our techs (some test scoring, database entry, organizational tasks (this one is currently filled).
At this point in time we might consider someone such as a marketing intern with some experience in developing and targeting brochures, website content development, and other low-cost strategies. A psychology intern with excellent writing and website skills to update and add content to our websites would also be considered (this would be at least a 6 month committment).
A trustworthy intern for three months would also be considered to assist with computer data transfer (getting files off of old computers and archiving them, deleting sensitive files) and sale of outdated equipment and other surplus items on ebay. References required.
An intern to help scan records and who has good experience working wiht Microsoft Word templates to help us transition to Electronic medical records would also be considered.
