Psychology Resident

Kay Hurlock, Psy.D. joins our staff as a psychology resident under ther supervision of Ernest J. Bordini, Ph.D., licensed psychologist. Dr. Hurlock has a wealth of experience in providing adult, family and group psychotherapy in a variety of settings.

Kay Hurlock, Psy.D. has worked with a number of special populations including veterans, women with addictions, and individuals with dual diagnosis. She has extensive experience in providing alcohol and drug treatment with a variety of populations and has interests in cultural factors associated with alcohol and drug abuse or dependence.

Dr. Kay Hurlock adds depth to our adult psychotherapy staff in the treatment of depression, adjustment and anxiety disorders as well as expanding our services to individuals with addictions and alcohol problems. She generally uses an eclectic approach that combines elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy and an interpersonal perspective.

Dr. Hurlock has particular interest in assisting those who have turned to alcohol or drugs to cope with traumatic events or stress.
