Group Therapy services are offered to children & adolescents with ADHD or Nonverbal Learning Disorders. This involves use of cognitive behavioral techniques & role-playing over the course of 15-20 small group sessions.
Groups focus on social skills, working cooperatively, problem solving, anger management, identification of nonverbal cues, anger management, & coping with teasing.
We have provided structured groups for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Nonverbal LD for over two decades. This approach employs cognitive-behavioral mediation of behavior, role play, videotape feedback in small child and adolescent groups with narrow age ranges.
The group program depends on sufficient enrollment.
